You notice how many odd features are being brought up here while the game's still less playable than the original?

 

Anyway, in an effort to contain my ideas and get something functional out over something big, some features and a lot of species, areas and items will be shelved until the time is right.

 

A lot of content and mechanics are on the cards, so most things have been split up into feature update groups (no comment how many exactly). The total species in particular is cut down from what it was intended to be way back when, jumping from 200 to ~80 for 22/12/22.

 

The main mechanics I want to implement over time are as follows:

 

  • Importing from Riftcast
  • Forms (Child, Adult, etc.)
  • Tourneys
  • Adventuring
  • Questing/missions
  • Player character(s)
  • Automatic battles
  • Training games
  • Inventory system
  • Item/biome preferences
  • Shops
  • Medals
  • Turn-based battles
  • Online battling/trading

 

It's like a roadmap. Wouldn't be all too fun to just reveal everything coming up immediately, though.
