 Many days and nights were spent on the drawing board as to what the final artstyle for Recut would be. What good is a bunch of sprites without a nice piece of art to go with it?

Anyhow, let's take Scarnex and Sabereon.

White and black, smooth and sharp, no sense of scale. It's a serviceable art style, but it doesn't quite make for the clearest interpretation of these designs.

So going forward, this is how these beasties will be rendered:

 

Not much else to it, it's in colour, sizes are more sensical, it's much more detailed and doesn't take up too much space.
